What the numbers say

Ireland issued 3,092 employment permits in October 2025, up 18% on September and down 17% on October 2024.

That brings the year to 25,715 permits, down 39% on the same point in 2024.

1,645 employers received at least one permit in the month, 316 of them for the first time.

Google Ireland Limited took the most, with 46.

Busiest counties: Dublin (1,147), Cork (180), Meath (98).
