Ireland issued 3,832 employment permits in June 2024, up 2% on May and up 22% on June 2023.

That brings the year to 24,695 permits, up 61% on the same point in 2023.

1,143 employers received at least one permit in the month, 203 of them for the first time.

Cork University Hospital took the most, with 78.
