Trade & Professional Talent for Ireland, the UK, and Europe
Sama Talent is a licensed Irish employment agency (EA5649) connecting skilled trades, drivers, and remote professionals with great employers across Ireland, the UK, and Europe.
Whether you’re hiring or looking for your next role, you’re in the right place.
Local first. Internationally ready when local can’t deliver.
We work three ways, depending on what the role actually needs. Real people on both sides of the table. We treat every employer and every candidate the same way: with straight answers, clear timelines, and no surprises.
Local placement. For roles that can be filled from the Irish or UK market, that’s where we start. We source, screen, shortlist, and match the right person to the right job.
International deployment. Where roles are genuinely hard to fill locally, we work with skilled professionals from the Philippines, South Africa, and Bangladesh. We support candidates fully through the process. That includes Employment Permits for Ireland, Skilled Worker visas and Certificates of Sponsorship for the UK, IELTS preparation, flights, accommodation, and settling in. Employers meet pre-tested people. Candidates land in a job that’s ready for them.
Remote talent. For office-based roles, we connect employers with experienced bookkeepers, accountants, customer service reps, sales reps, and virtual assistants working from the Philippines, South Africa, Bangladesh, and Colombia. Fair pay, direct employment, no salary margin taken from the worker.
No retainer for employers. No fees for candidates, ever.

FAQ
What does it cost to get started?
Nothing. There are no upfront fees for either remote placements or on-site deployments. For deployments, fees are staged across the process.
What happens if a candidate doesn't work out?
All placements come with a 6-month replacement guarantee. If the candidate is not the right fit, we replace them free of charge.
Where do your candidates come from?
For remote roles, we source from the Philippines, South Africa, Colombia, UAE, India, and Bangladesh. For on-site deployments, we recruit from the Philippines and South Africa, including Filipino professionals based in the UAE.
Do you handle visas and work permits?
Yes. We manage the entire process from work permit applications and visa submissions through to flights, social security registration, bank accounts, and full mobilisation. You just sign the paperwork.
Who employs the candidate, you or us?
They work for you. Candidates hired through Sama Talent Group are employed exclusively by your business. There are no ongoing fees, no percentages deducted from their salary, and no middleman arrangements.
How quickly can you fill a role?
It depends on the route. Local placements typically complete in under two weeks from brief to start. International deployments into Ireland run 8 to 22 weeks end-to-end, accounting for the employment permit, visa, and mobilisation stages. UK deployments with an existing Sponsor Licence run 10 to 14 weeks. We will give you a realistic timeline for your specific role before we start, not optimistic numbers we cannot deliver.
Are you regulated?
Yes. Sama Talent and Offshore Services Ltd holds Employment Agency Licence EA 5649, issued by the Workplace Relations Commission, valid to May 2027. The Irish company is CRO 810220. The UK entity Sama Talent UK Ltd operates under Company number 17175806. The US entity Sama Talent LLC is registered in Delaware. We are a licensed, regulated, multi-jurisdictional operation.
What industries do you work with?
We specialise in skilled trades, drivers, and engineering roles across automotive, construction, data centres, drivers and haulage, engineering, manufacturing, pharmaceutical, semiconductors, and shipbuilding. The ten trades we trade-test in our own workshops are HGV and LGV drivers, mechanics, sprayers, panel beaters, electricians, carpenters, workshop joiners, scaffolders, welders, and tyre fitters. For office-based roles, we place remote bookkeepers, accountants, customer service reps, sales reps, and virtual assistants.
Do I pay anything to Sama Talent?
No. We do not charge candidates anything, at any stage, ever. Not for application, not for placement, not for visa processing, not for “training” or “registration.” If any agency tells you that you must pay to be considered for a job, that agency is not Sama Talent. We are paid by the employers we work with, and your wage is yours in full.
What jobs do you place?
We place skilled trades, drivers, and engineering roles into employers in Ireland, the UK, and Europe. The ten trades we trade-test in our own workshops are HGV and LGV drivers, mechanics, sprayers, panel beaters, electricians, carpenters, workshop joiners, scaffolders, welders, and tyre fitters. We also place remote office-based roles (bookkeepers, accountants, customer service reps, sales reps, virtual assistants) with US-based employers.
Where do you place candidates from?
We work with skilled professionals from the Philippines, South Africa, Bangladesh, Colombia, the UAE, and India. We also place candidates locally within Ireland and the UK. We are launching Polish sourcing later in 2026.
Will you sponsor my visa?
Yes, for on-site deployment roles. For Ireland, we coordinate the General Employment Permit (or Critical Skills Employment Permit where eligible) and your work visa with Irish Immigration Service Delivery. For the UK, we work with employers who hold Skilled Worker Sponsor Licences to issue your Certificate of Sponsorship. We handle the paperwork, the timelines, and the follow-up. Remote roles do not require visa sponsorship because you continue to live and work from your home country.
How long does the process take?
For Irish deployments under the General Employment Permit, the realistic end-to-end timeline is 8 to 22 weeks from offer to landing in Ireland. Critical Skills Employment Permit roles are faster, typically 6 to 18 weeks. UK Skilled Worker visa deployments are typically 10 to 14 weeks. Remote placements move much faster, usually 1 to 4 weeks from application to start. We will tell you the realistic timeline for your specific role from day one.
What do you cover when I move?
For on-site deployments, the employer covers the major costs. This typically includes your flight to Ireland or the UK, accommodation on arrival, support setting up your PPSN or National Insurance number, opening a bank account, getting a local phone, and induction with your new employer. We are on the ground until you are settled. Specific cost coverage varies by employer and role and is confirmed in writing before you accept the offer.
What kind of English do I need?
For trades roles in Ireland or the UK, you typically need spoken English at a working level. The specific test required (IELTS for Ireland, or one of several accepted alternatives for the UK) depends on the permit route. For remote office-based roles with US employers, we require C1 level or above in both spoken and written English. We assess your English early in the process so there are no surprises later.
How do I apply?
Browse our open roles at samatalent.com/job and apply through the listing that fits your skills. If no current role matches, register your interest at jobs@samatalent.com and we will contact you when something opens up. A recruiter from our team in Manila, Johannesburg, Dhaka, or wherever fits your location will be in touch within a week to talk through your experience and next steps. No fees, no obligation, no pressure.
