Ireland issued 5,742 employment permits in July 2024, up 50% on June and up 89% on July 2023.

That brings the year to 30,437 permits, up 66% on the same point in 2023.

1,605 employers received at least one permit in the month, 312 of them for the first time.

Carton Brothers Unlimited Company took the most, with 160.
