Ireland issued 2,661 employment permits in August 2025, up 22% on July and down 38% on August 2024.

That brings the year to 19,996 permits, down 42% on the same point in 2024.

1,336 employers received at least one permit in the month, 231 of them for the first time.

NT R&D Logistics Systems Limited took the most, with 37.
