About the role
Depot-based role at a purpose-built Letterkenny facility. Around 98 per cent passenger vehicles including premium, hybrid and electric, with a focus on diagnostics, electronics and fault finding. Relocation assistance available.
What you will be doing
- Service, diagnose and repair cars and light commercial vehicles
- Electronic diagnostics and fault finding
- Prepare vehicles for test and rectify failures
- Accurate job cards and parts recording
- Diagnose and resolve electrical and wiring faults
- Work on cameras, sensors and other electronic systems
- Safely strip and reassemble components, trims and associated systems without damage
What you need
- Time served vehicle technician
- Diagnostic experience on modern vehicles
- Own hand tools
- Full driving licence
- Minimum five years' automotive experience and currently working as a technician
- Strong knowledge of modern passenger vehicle systems
- Experience with modern diagnostic equipment and software
- Experience with premium, hybrid and electric vehicles
- Good spoken and written English
- Full clean driving licence
- ADAS calibration experience an advantage
