About the role
Qualified mechanic servicing the full fleet, artic and rigid trucks, vans and company cars. Company van provided.
What you will be doing
- Service, diagnose and repair HGVs, trailers and plant
- Engine, transmission, brake and hydraulic work
- Prepare vehicles for CVRT or MOT and rectify failures
- Electrical and diagnostic fault finding
- Accurate job records and reporting
- Service and repair artic and rigid trucks, vans and company cars
- Keep the fleet on the road safely and efficiently
What you need
- Time served HGV or plant mechanic
- Confident on air brake systems and hydraulics
- Diagnostic experience on modern commercial vehicles
- Own hand tools
- Full driving licence. An HGV licence is an advantage
- Qualified mechanic
- Pride in standard of service
