About the role
Assembling, installing and modifying structural steelwork, architectural metalwork and mechanical equipment across commercial and industrial sites. Company tools and PPE provided, overtime available.
What you will be doing
- Work from engineering drawings to procedure and specification
- Work to tolerance on large parts and equipment
- Oxygen and acetylene cutting and heating
- Assemble, align and finish to standard
- Lifting and moving components safely
- Install structural steel frameworks, cladding and architectural metal components to technical drawings
- Site welding, cutting, grinding and fabrication adjustments
- Precise measurement and alignment checks
- Operate site machinery and lifting equipment safely
What you need
- Fitter qualification or time served experience
- Fully competent reading engineering drawings
- Able to work at height where the job requires it
- Proven experience as a site fitter, structural fitter or steel erector
- Able to read structural and engineering drawings
- Valid Safe Pass and Manual Handling
- MIG or MMA welding qualifications and MEWP or CSCS tickets highly desirable
- Full clean Irish or EU driving licence
