About the role

Preparing, treating and coating structural steel, machinery and large industrial equipment.

What you will be doing

• Clean, sand, blast and mask surfaces before coating
• Mix and apply industrial primers, paints and epoxies using airless sprayers, rollers and brushes
• Clean, maintain and troubleshoot paint sprayers and ventilation
• Inspect finished work for runs, sags and uneven thickness

What you need

• Two years or more in industrial, automotive or marine painting
• Proficient with airless and conventional spray guns
• Knowledge of industrial chemical mixing ratios
• Able to lift up to 50lb and work at height on scaffolding
• NACE or SSPC certification preferred
