About the role
Experienced HGV and heavy diesel engine mechanic maintaining trucks, trailers and heavy machinery.
What you will be doing
- Service, diagnose and repair HGVs, trailers and plant
- Engine, transmission, brake and hydraulic work
- Prepare vehicles for CVRT or MOT and rectify failures
- Electrical and diagnostic fault finding
- Accurate job records and reporting
- Maintain HGV vehicles including trucks, heavy machinery and trailers
What you need
- Time served HGV or plant mechanic
- Confident on air brake systems and hydraulics
- Diagnostic experience on modern commercial vehicles
- Own hand tools
- Full driving licence. An HGV licence is an advantage
- Experienced on HGV and heavy diesel engines
- High attention to detail
