About the role
Setting, operating and programming CNC milling machines across 3, 4 and 5 axis machinery, to tight tolerances and ISO9001 standards.
What you will be doing
- Set and operate CNC turning or milling machines
- Work from engineering drawings to tolerance
- First off inspection and in process checks
- Tooling changes and basic programme edits
- Program using Fusion 360
- Set and operate CNC milling machines with Heidenhain controls
- Work on 3, 4 and 5 axis machinery
- Interpret technical drawings and specifications
- Work to ISO9001 quality standards
What you need
- Machining qualification or time served experience
- Able to read engineering drawings and use measuring equipment
- Setting experience is a strong advantage
- Proven experience as a CNC miller
- Strong knowledge of Heidenhain controls
- Experience with Fusion 360 or similar CAD/CAM
- Full UK driving licence and own transport, essential due to the location
