About the role

Constructing, flooring and cladding modular timber and steel frames from technical drawings.

What you will be doing

• First and second fix carpentry to drawings
• Doors, frames, studwork, floors and finishings
• Formwork where the project requires it
• Work to a proper finish and a tidy site
• Lay structural flooring and sub-flooring onto modular steel or timber frames
• Fix internal and external cladding, insulation and vapour barriers
• Measure, cut and assemble timber structures from blueprints
• Inspect finished modules against structural drawings

What you need

• Time served carpenter or joiner
• Own hand tools
• Safe Pass or CSCS, or willing to complete on arrival
• Proven experience in first and second fix joinery or commercial cladding, modular experience preferred
• Able to read technical drawings
• Proficient with hand tools, nail guns and cutting equipment
• Valid CSCS card or regional equivalent and relevant NVQ
