About the role
Operating a variety of mobile plant across recycling and processing facilities, 40 hours a week, reporting to the operations manager. Overtime, pension and ongoing training.
What you will be doing
- Operate plant safely and productively on site
- Daily checks, greasing and defect reporting
- Work to levels and setting out
- Work safely alongside groundworkers and traffic management
- Operate a material handler with rotating grab feeding recycling processing equipment and MRF picking stations
- Operate a 360 excavator feeding an impact crusher for recycled aggregate
- Feed high-speed biomass shredding and processing systems
- Daily pre-start inspections and operator maintenance checks
- Monitor material flow and maintain feed rates
What you need
- Relevant plant tickets for the machines you operate
- Site experience on civils or construction
- Safe Pass or CSCS, or willing to complete on arrival
- Previous heavy plant experience in waste, recycling, quarrying, construction or biomass
- Experience on material handlers with grab attachments and/or 360 excavators
- CPCS, NPORS, LANTRA or CSR certification desirable
- Loading shovel and telehandler experience desirable
