The tests
Start with the one that matters for your job
English practice test
Thirty questions on the English you actually need at work: the grammar, the site and workshop vocabulary, and reading a contract clause or a safety notice without guessing. Find out where you stand before you pay for the official test.
Start the testDriver theory practiceRules of the road: Ireland
Twenty-four questions on driving in Ireland. Which side, which signs, the speed limits that changed in 2025, the lower alcohol limit that applies to you as a professional driver, and which licences can be exchanged.
Start the testProfessional driver practiceDrivers hours, tachograph and CPC
Twenty questions on drivers hours, the tachograph and Driver CPC. The same rules in Ireland and the UK, and the thing that gets more drivers prosecuted abroad than anything else.
Start the testDriver theory practiceRules of the road: United Kingdom
Twenty questions on driving in the UK. Miles not kilometres, red triangles not yellow diamonds, the red X on the motorway, and the two different alcohol limits either side of the Scottish border.

Three things to know before you take one
Where the questions came from
We wrote all 94 of them
None of them is copied from the RSA or DVSA question banks or from an English test. Those belong to the bodies that run them. Ours cover the same ground in our own words.
What a score here is worth
Nothing here counts for a visa
A UK Skilled Worker application needs an approved Secure English Language Test. A licence needs the official theory test. Use this to find out where you stand before you pay for either.
Cost
We never charge candidates
Not for the tests, not for coaching, not to be placed, not for a visa. Employers pay us. If anyone asks you for money in our name, tell us.
Know where you stand
Your rights at work, and who to call if something is wrong
What you are owed in Ireland and in the UK, in plain language, with the phone number of the body that enforces it. Free, and it applies whether you came through us or not.
