About the role

Remote commercial management of civil engineering projects across Ireland. Part-time and flexible, with potential to grow. Live project cost control, contract administration, claims and tender support.

What you will be doing

  • Measure, value and agree works on live projects
  • Prepare and agree valuations, variations and final accounts
  • Subcontractor procurement and payment
  • Cost reporting and forecasting to the commercial team
  • Full commercial oversight of live projects from start to final account
  • Weekly project costings from site records, invoices and progress data
  • Prepare and submit Notices of Claim and Extension of Time claims
  • Prepare variations and backup
  • Monthly payment applications
  • Re-measurement and final accounts
  • Review contract programmes in MS Project or similar
  • Material schedules, drainage take-offs and subcontract packages
  • Take-offs, volumes, BOQs and cost plans

What you need

  • Quantity surveying degree or equivalent experience
  • Civils, building or fit-out background
  • Confident with measurement and contract administration
  • Strong Irish and UK civils QS experience at senior level
  • Strong working knowledge of Irish and UK construction contracts
  • Able to work independently and manage commercial risk
  • Comfortable with cloud-based systems and digital site records
