We operate the website samatalent.com and provide international recruitment and staffing services, specialising in the placement of skilled workers into employment roles across Ireland, the United Kingdom, and Europe.
For the purposes of the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the Data Protection Act 2018, Sama Talent & Offshore Services Limited is the data controller in respect of the personal data we collect and process.

- ABD Overseas Manpower Corporation (Manila): our exclusive in-country sourcing and vetting partner, with whom we share candidate information as necessary to conduct assessments and manage the deployment pipeline. ABD is subject to a Data Processing Agreement with us.
- Immigration and permit authorities: DETE (Ireland), UKVI (United Kingdom), and the Philippine DMW/POEA, as required to process permits and visas.
- Professional advisors: our solicitors, accountants, and compliance advisors, on a confidential basis.
- Technology providers: CRM, email, and operational software providers (including HubSpot, Workable, Microsoft 365) who process data on our behalf as data processors under appropriate agreements.
Where we transfer personal data outside the European Economic Area (EEA) — including to the Philippines — we ensure appropriate safeguards are in place in accordance with Chapter V of the GDPR.
6. How Long We Keep Your Data
We retain personal data only for as long as necessary for the purposes for which it was collected, or as required by law.
- Candidate data (unsuccessful applicants): up to 12 months from last contact, after which data is deleted unless you have consented to a longer retention period.
- Candidate data (placed candidates): for the duration of employment and for a period of up to 6 years thereafter, to comply with legal and contractual obligations.
- Client data: for the duration of the commercial relationship and for up to 6 years following its end, for legal and financial compliance purposes.
- Website visitor data: in accordance with our cookie policy; typically no longer than 12 months.
7. Your Rights
Under GDPR, you have the following rights in relation to your personal data:
- Right of access: you may request a copy of the personal data we hold about you.
- Right to rectification: you may request that we correct inaccurate or incomplete data.
