About the role
A heavy plant and machinery manufacturer building large scale equipment to exacting standards. Modern facility, structured training and long term prospects.
What you will be doing
- Welding and mechanical fitting on large fabricated assemblies
- Work to detailed engineering drawings and tolerances
- Fit up, align and assemble mechanical components
- Quality inspection of your own work
- Work to the production schedule with the wider team
What you need
- Time served welder or mechanical fitter
- Able to read detailed engineering drawings
- Experience on heavy fabrication or machinery assembly is an advantage
- Precise, methodical and safety conscious
- Conversational English
