Reporting to:     Operations Manager, Financial Controller & Managing Director

Pay Package:      € 58,760 per annum

Job Type:             Full Time, Permanent, On-Site

Job Schedule:    Shift work: 3 days on, 4 days off with 12 hour shifts per day

Role Overview:

Transway Trailer Ltd. requires a CVR Tester to join the team and deliver high quality vehicle testing to our customers as well as our own managed vehicles.

The candidate will have a minimum of 2 years experience in CVR testing.

Transway has been operational since 1984, serving the Irish transport industry and has been an established CVR Test Center since 2010, gaining a good reputation in the industry. The organisation is looking to expand the team and gain staff members who will play a role in the future of the business.

Key Responsibilities:

  • The testing of light and heavy commercial vehicles in accordance with the current testing manuals as issued and updated by the Road Safety Authority.
  • Participating in all scheduled training as required by the RSA or the company
  • Understand the organisation’s Contract Maintenance model and contribute to the organisation’s Contract Maintenance objectives.
  • Reporting any defective or inadequate tools and equipment likely to be detrimental to your job of testing.
  • Communicating clearly with Customers the results of a test and the recommended action where necessary.
  • Ensuring all work is carried out to the highest possible standard and that customers are treated with courtesy at all times.
  • Assist the workshop in their needs as part of the same team with the same objectives.
  • Maintaining a good level of housekeeping in our facility.

  • Contributing the Contract Maintenance objectives.
  • Efficiency in testing times.

  • Attend training when required and share this knowledge with other staff members.

Schedule & Working Hours

  • Shift Work Available
    3 Days on, 4 days off
    12 hour shifts, 7am-7pm
  • Full Time, regular hours.
    Monday to Saturday
    8am-5pm
