About the role

Laying block paving, flagstones, brickwork and retaining walls to exact specification across sites in Northern Ireland, with the ground preparation that goes with it.

What you will be doing

• Laying block paving, flagstones, brickwork, blockwork and retaining walls to line and level
• Ground preparation including excavation, sub base installation, sand bedding and compaction
• Reading and interpreting technical drawings, site plans and measurements
• Cutting, shaping and trimming paving materials and bricks with hand and power tools
• Mixing and applying mortar, pointing and jointing compounds for a clean, durable finish
• Working to health and safety regulations on every site

What you need

• Time served experience in bricklaying, block paving and hard landscaping
• Confident with the tools of the trade, including stone cutters, angle grinders and wacker plates
• Strong physical stamina and able to work outdoors in all weather
• High attention to detail and precision finishing
• Full UK driving licence to travel between sites in Northern Ireland
• Good standard of English, written and spoken

A CSR card or equivalent safety certification is preferred.
