About the role
Supporting the production team across site preparation, material handling and assembly, working alongside skilled trades in a busy engineering environment.
What you will be doing
- Site preparation and general labouring as directed by supervisors and skilled trades
- Material handling, moving stock and components around the yard and workshop
- Assisting with assembly and finishing work
- Keeping work areas clean, tidy and safe
- Handling equipment correctly and wearing the required PPE at all times
- Rotating shifts and overtime as the work demands
What you need
- Physically fit and comfortable with manual work, standing for long shifts and heavy lifting
- Good understanding of site safety procedures and correct use of PPE
- Strong work ethic and reliable attendance
- Able to take direction from supervisors and skilled trades
- Flexible on shifts, overtime and varied tasks
- Good standard of English, written and spoken
A basic site safety card such as CSR or CSCS, or a forklift licence, is an advantage but not essential.
