What a licence means
They can sponsor. That is all it says.
A sponsor licence lets an organisation assign a Certificate of Sponsorship to a worker on the routes it covers. It does not mean Wellers is hiring from abroad this month, only that it can, and has been checked by the Home Office to do so.
How to approach them
Make the certificate easy
The employer assigns the certificate; you supply what it needs. Certificates, references, your English level and a clear licence position, all ready, is what makes Wellers say yes to the sponsored candidate over the unsponsored one.
The register
Wellers is licensed to sponsor workers on Skilled Worker. The organisation is based in Oxford, Oxfordshire and has held its place on the register since at least 2026. The register records its rating as Worker (A rating).
Companies House lists the business as Wellers Limited, company number 17125830, a private limited company. The registered office is at 8 King Edward Street, Oxford, OX1 4HL, OX1 4HL. By its SIC codes the business is in professional and technical services. It has traded under other names before, including Wls 2026 Limited.
What the licence tells a candidate is that the door is not locked. Whether it is open this month is a question for Wellers's own careers page and the job boards, and the answer changes with the season and the order book.
