What a licence means

The slow part is done

Getting a licence takes an application, checks and a fee, and most employers never bother. Stichwork Ltd has, which means when a role qualifies the certificate can be assigned without months of preparation.

How to approach them

Lead with the role, not the visa

Apply through the careers page or the job boards with a UK-style CV, say early that you would need sponsorship, and make the skill and the years the first thing they read.

The register

Stichwork Ltd, Basingstoke, holds a Home Office sponsor licence on the Skilled Worker route, and has been on the register since at least 2026. The register records its rating as Worker (A rating).

Companies House lists the business as Stichwork Ltd, company number 16150656, a private limited company. Registered office: 39 Orkney Close, Basingstoke, RG24 9AR, RG24 9AR. Its filed activity puts it in manufacturing.

What the licence tells a candidate is that the door is not locked. Whether it is open this month is a question for Stichwork Ltd's own careers page and the job boards, and the answer changes with the season and the order book.
