What a licence means

Licensed, checked, on the list

The Home Office lists Square Shack because it applied, was checked and continues to meet its sponsor duties. Whether a given job qualifies still depends on the role and the pay under the current rules.

How to approach them

Make the certificate easy

The employer assigns the certificate; you supply what it needs. Certificates, references, your English level and a clear licence position, all ready, is what makes Square Shack say yes to the sponsored candidate over the unsponsored one.

The register

What the licence tells a candidate is that the door is not locked. Whether it is open this month is a question for Square Shack's own careers page and the job boards, and the answer changes with the season and the order book.
