A gate, not a guarantee
The register tells you the gate is there. It says nothing about vacancies. For that, SmileyWorld Limited's own careers page and the job boards are the source, and they change with the season.
How to approach them
Lead with the role, not the visa
Apply through the careers page or the job boards with a UK-style CV, say early that you would need sponsorship, and make the skill and the years the first thing they read.
The register
The register lists SmileyWorld Limited in London as a licensed sponsor on Skilled Worker, an entry that goes back to at least 2026. Its rating on the register is Worker (A rating).
Smileyworld Limited is the registered name (Companies House number 03251952), a private limited company on the register since 1996. Registered office: 120-122 Webber Street, London, SE1 0QL, SE1 0QL. Its filed activity puts it in other services. It has traded under other names before, including The Smiley Licensing Corporation Limited.
What the licence tells a candidate is that the door is not locked. Whether it is open this month is a question for SmileyWorld Limited's own careers page and the job boards, and the answer changes with the season and the order book.
