What a licence means

They can sponsor. That is all it says.

A sponsor licence lets an organisation assign a Certificate of Sponsorship to a worker on the routes it covers. It does not mean Root-Power Limited is hiring from abroad this month, only that it can, and has been checked by the Home Office to do so.

How to approach them

Lead with the role, not the visa

Apply through the careers page or the job boards with a UK-style CV, say early that you would need sponsorship, and make the skill and the years the first thing they read.

The register

Root-Power Limited, Salford, Manchester, holds a Home Office sponsor licence on the Skilled Worker route, and has been on the register since at least 2026. Its rating on the register is Worker (A rating).

Root-power Limited is the registered name (Companies House number 15499441), a private limited company on the register since 2024. The registered office is at 10 Exchange Quay, Trafford Road, Salford Quays, M5 3EQ, M5 3EQ. Its filed activity puts it in energy, water and waste. It has traded under other names before, including Ylem Bess Limited.

What the licence tells a candidate is that the door is not locked. Whether it is open this month is a question for Root-Power Limited's own careers page and the job boards, and the answer changes with the season and the order book.
