What a licence means

The slow part is done

Getting a licence takes an application, checks and a fee, and most employers never bother. Restaurant Story has, which means when a role qualifies the certificate can be assigned without months of preparation.

How to approach them

Make the certificate easy

The employer assigns the certificate; you supply what it needs. Certificates, references, your English level and a clear licence position, all ready, is what makes Restaurant Story say yes to the sponsored candidate over the unsponsored one.

The register

Restaurant Story is licensed to sponsor workers on Skilled Worker. The organisation is based in London and has held its place on the register since at least 2026. The register records its rating as Worker (A rating).

At Companies House the business is Restaurant Story Ltd (company number 08279174), a private limited company incorporated in 2012, 14 years ago. Registered office: Office 6 7 - 11 High Street, Reigate, Surrey, RH2 9AA, RH2 9AA. By its SIC codes the business is in hospitality.

What the licence tells a candidate is that the door is not locked. Whether it is open this month is a question for Restaurant Story's own careers page and the job boards, and the answer changes with the season and the order book.
