What a licence means

They can sponsor. That is all it says.

A sponsor licence lets an organisation assign a Certificate of Sponsorship to a worker on the routes it covers. It does not mean Prophet plc is hiring from abroad this month, only that it can, and has been checked by the Home Office to do so.

How to approach them

Ask the question early

Sponsorship is a yes or no per role. Ask in the first message whether the vacancy qualifies for a Certificate of Sponsorship; it saves everyone a wasted interview and marks you as someone who knows the system.

The register

Prophet plc is licensed to sponsor workers on Skilled Worker. The organisation is based in Meriden and has held its place on the register since at least 2026. The register records its rating as Worker (A rating).

Prophet Limited is the registered name (Companies House number 02432936), a private limited company on the register since 1989. The registered office is at Unit 1 Villiers Court, Meriden Business Park, Copse Drive Meriden, Coventry, CV5 9RG, CV5 9RG. Its filed activity puts it in it, software and media. It has traded under other names before, including Prophet PLC, Blass PLC.

What the licence tells a candidate is that the door is not locked. Whether it is open this month is a question for Prophet plc's own careers page and the job boards, and the answer changes with the season and the order book.
