What a licence means

The slow part is done

Getting a licence takes an application, checks and a fee, and most employers never bother. PRA has, which means when a role qualifies the certificate can be assigned without months of preparation.

How to approach them

Lead with the role, not the visa

Apply through the careers page or the job boards with a UK-style CV, say early that you would need sponsorship, and make the skill and the years the first thing they read.

The register

The register lists PRA in Reading, Berkshire as a licensed sponsor on Skilled Worker and Global Business Mobility: Senior or Specialist Worker, 2 routes in all, and has done since at least 2026. Its rating on the register is Worker (A rating).

Companies House lists it as PRA LTD, number 07231159, incorporated 2010: 16 years of filings behind the name. Registered office: 843 Finchley Road, London, NW11 8NA, NW11 8NA. It has traded under other names before, including Rising Phoenix Advisors Limited.

A licence says an organisation may sponsor; it does not say it is hiring today. The way to find out is the same as for any employer: the careers page, the job boards, and a direct approach with a UK-style CV that says early that sponsorship would be needed.
