What a licence means

The slow part is done

Getting a licence takes an application, checks and a fee, and most employers never bother. P & S Traders Ltd has, which means when a role qualifies the certificate can be assigned without months of preparation.

How to approach them

Make the certificate easy

The employer assigns the certificate; you supply what it needs. Certificates, references, your English level and a clear licence position, all ready, is what makes P & S Traders Ltd say yes to the sponsored candidate over the unsponsored one.

The register

The register lists P & S Traders Ltd in Port Glasgow as a licensed sponsor on Skilled Worker, an entry that goes back to at least 2026. Rating on the current register: Worker (A rating).

Companies House lists it as P&S Traders Ltd, number SC486363, incorporated 2014: 12 years of filings behind the name. Registered office: Pick&Save, 2-4 Dubbs Road, Port Glasgow, Renfrewshire, PA14 5UA, PA14 5UA. By its SIC codes the business is in retail.

Holding a licence is the expensive, slow part done. For P & S Traders Ltd the question each time is only whether the role and the pay fit the current rules, and that is checked per vacancy.
