What a licence means

The slow part is done

Getting a licence takes an application, checks and a fee, and most employers never bother. Modus Workspace Ltd has, which means when a role qualifies the certificate can be assigned without months of preparation.

How to approach them

Ask the question early

Sponsorship is a yes or no per role. Ask in the first message whether the vacancy qualifies for a Certificate of Sponsorship; it saves everyone a wasted interview and marks you as someone who knows the system.

The register

The register lists Modus Workspace Ltd in London as a licensed sponsor on Skilled Worker, an entry that goes back to at least 2026. The register records its rating as Worker (A rating).

At Companies House the business is Modus Workspace Limited (company number 06839982), a private limited company incorporated in 2009, 17 years ago. Registered office: Tide Building, 8 Emerson Street, London, SE1 9DU, SE1 9DU. Its filed activity puts it in other services.

What the licence tells a candidate is that the door is not locked. Whether it is open this month is a question for Modus Workspace Ltd's own careers page and the job boards, and the answer changes with the season and the order book.
