What a licence means

They can sponsor. That is all it says.

A sponsor licence lets an organisation assign a Certificate of Sponsorship to a worker on the routes it covers. It does not mean Knockbox cafe is hiring from abroad this month, only that it can, and has been checked by the Home Office to do so.

How to approach them

Make the certificate easy

The employer assigns the certificate; you supply what it needs. Certificates, references, your English level and a clear licence position, all ready, is what makes Knockbox cafe say yes to the sponsored candidate over the unsponsored one.

The register

The register lists Knockbox cafe in London as a licensed sponsor on Skilled Worker, an entry that goes back to at least 2026. Rating on the current register: Worker (A rating).

Companies House lists the business as Knockbox Cafe Ltd, company number 17022234, a private limited company. The registered office is at 35-37 Clerkenwell Road, London, EC1M 5RS, EC1M 5RS. By its SIC codes the business is in hospitality.

What the licence tells a candidate is that the door is not locked. Whether it is open this month is a question for Knockbox cafe's own careers page and the job boards, and the answer changes with the season and the order book.
