What a licence means
The slow part is done
Getting a licence takes an application, checks and a fee, and most employers never bother. DNB Trading Ltd has, which means when a role qualifies the certificate can be assigned without months of preparation.
How to approach them
Lead with the role, not the visa
Apply through the careers page or the job boards with a UK-style CV, say early that you would need sponsorship, and make the skill and the years the first thing they read.
The register
The register lists DNB Trading Ltd in Scotland as a licensed sponsor on Skilled Worker, an entry that goes back to at least 2026. Rating on the current register: Worker (A rating).
Dnb Trading Limited is the registered name (Companies House number SC769968), a private limited company on the register since 2023. Registered office: 70 Victoria Road, Aberdeen, AB11 9DS, AB11 9DS. Its filed activity puts it in other services.
Holding a licence is the expensive, slow part done. For DNB Trading Ltd the question each time is only whether the role and the pay fit the current rules, and that is checked per vacancy.
