What a licence means

Licensed, checked, on the list

The Home Office lists Defcode Ltd because it applied, was checked and continues to meet its sponsor duties. Whether a given job qualifies still depends on the role and the pay under the current rules.

How to approach them

Lead with the role, not the visa

Apply through the careers page or the job boards with a UK-style CV, say early that you would need sponsorship, and make the skill and the years the first thing they read.

The register

Defcode Ltd, London, holds a Home Office sponsor licence on the Skilled Worker route, and has been on the register since at least 2026. Its rating on the register is Worker (A rating).

Defcode Ltd is the registered name (Companies House number 14499749), a private limited company on the register since 2022. The registered office is at 20-22 Wenlock Road, London, N1 7GU, N1 7GU. Its filed activity puts it in it, software and media.

What the licence tells a candidate is that the door is not locked. Whether it is open this month is a question for Defcode Ltd's own careers page and the job boards, and the answer changes with the season and the order book.
