What a licence means

The slow part is done

Getting a licence takes an application, checks and a fee, and most employers never bother. Davies Group Limited has, which means when a role qualifies the certificate can be assigned without months of preparation.

How to approach them

Make the certificate easy

The employer assigns the certificate; you supply what it needs. Certificates, references, your English level and a clear licence position, all ready, is what makes Davies Group Limited say yes to the sponsored candidate over the unsponsored one.

The register

The register lists Davies Group Limited in Stoke on Trent as a licensed sponsor on Skilled Worker, an entry that goes back to at least 2026. The register records its rating as Worker (A rating).

At Companies House the business is Davies Group Limited (company number 06479822), a private limited company incorporated in 2008, 18 years ago. Registered office: 5th Floor 20 Gracechurch Street, London, EC3V 0BG, EC3V 0BG. By its SIC codes the business is in finance and insurance. It has traded under other names before, including Oval (2177) Limited.

A licence says an organisation may sponsor; it does not say it is hiring today. The way to find out is the same as for any employer: the careers page, the job boards, and a direct approach with a UK-style CV that says early that sponsorship would be needed.
