What a licence means

The slow part is done

Getting a licence takes an application, checks and a fee, and most employers never bother. Currencylink Ltd has, which means when a role qualifies the certificate can be assigned without months of preparation.

How to approach them

Ask the question early

Sponsorship is a yes or no per role. Ask in the first message whether the vacancy qualifies for a Certificate of Sponsorship; it saves everyone a wasted interview and marks you as someone who knows the system.

The register

Currencylink Ltd is licensed to sponsor workers on Skilled Worker. The organisation is based in Ilford, Essex and has held its place on the register since at least 2026. Rating on the current register: Worker (A rating).

What the licence tells a candidate is that the door is not locked. Whether it is open this month is a question for Currencylink Ltd's own careers page and the job boards, and the answer changes with the season and the order book.
