What a licence means
They can sponsor. That is all it says.
A sponsor licence lets an organisation assign a Certificate of Sponsorship to a worker on the routes it covers. It does not mean Certis is hiring from abroad this month, only that it can, and has been checked by the Home Office to do so.
How to approach them
Lead with the role, not the visa
Apply through the careers page or the job boards with a UK-style CV, say early that you would need sponsorship, and make the skill and the years the first thing they read.
The register
Certis is licensed to sponsor workers on Skilled Worker. The organisation is based in Huddersfield and has held its place on the register since at least 2026. Rating on the current register: Worker (A rating).
Certis Limited is the registered name (Companies House number 14690348), a private limited company on the register since 2023. The registered office is at 27 Old Gloucester Street, London, WC1N 3AX, WC1N 3AX. Its filed activity puts it in professional and technical services.
What the licence tells a candidate is that the door is not locked. Whether it is open this month is a question for Certis's own careers page and the job boards, and the answer changes with the season and the order book.
