What a licence means

They can sponsor. That is all it says.

A sponsor licence lets an organisation assign a Certificate of Sponsorship to a worker on the routes it covers. It does not mean Bridge Academy Trust is hiring from abroad this month, only that it can, and has been checked by the Home Office to do so.

How to approach them

Make the certificate easy

The employer assigns the certificate; you supply what it needs. Certificates, references, your English level and a clear licence position, all ready, is what makes Bridge Academy Trust say yes to the sponsored candidate over the unsponsored one.

The register

The register lists Bridge Academy Trust in Chelmsford, Essex as a licensed sponsor on Skilled Worker, an entry that goes back to at least 2026. Rating on the current register: Worker (A rating).

At Companies House the business is Bridge Academy Trust (company number 07663795), a company limited by guarantee incorporated in 2011, 15 years ago. The registered office is at Community Building Bridge Academy Trust, Brian Close, Chelmsford, Essex, CM2 9DZ, CM2 9DZ. By its SIC codes the business is in education. It has traded under other names before, including Moulsham High School.

Holding a licence is the expensive, slow part done. For Bridge Academy Trust the question each time is only whether the role and the pay fit the current rules, and that is checked per vacancy.
