The register

The register lists BBC in Salford as a licensed sponsor on Creative Worker, an entry that goes back to at least 2026. Its rating on the register is Temporary Worker (A rating).

Bbc Limited is the registered name (Companies House number 06500244), a private limited company on the register since 2008. Registered office: 76 Highbury Park, London, N5 2XE, N5 2XE. Its filed activity puts it in construction.

For a candidate this means one less obstacle: BBC already has the licence most employers would have to apply for. The rest is the ordinary job of getting the interview.

A gate, not a guarantee

The register tells you the gate is there. It says nothing about vacancies. For that, BBC's own careers page and the job boards are the source, and they change with the season.

How to approach them

Ask the question early

Sponsorship is a yes or no per role. Ask in the first message whether the vacancy qualifies for a Certificate of Sponsorship; it saves everyone a wasted interview and marks you as someone who knows the system.
