What a licence means

Licensed, checked, on the list

The Home Office lists Avans Associates because it applied, was checked and continues to meet its sponsor duties. Whether a given job qualifies still depends on the role and the pay under the current rules.

How to approach them

Ask the question early

Sponsorship is a yes or no per role. Ask in the first message whether the vacancy qualifies for a Certificate of Sponsorship; it saves everyone a wasted interview and marks you as someone who knows the system.

The register

Avans Associates, Manchester, Lancashire, holds a Home Office sponsor licence on the Skilled Worker route, and has been on the register since at least 2026. The register records its rating as Worker (A rating).

At Companies House the business is Avans Associates Limited (company number 09130250), a private limited company incorporated in 2014, 12 years ago. The registered office is at 167-169 Great Portland Street, London, W1W 5PF, W1W 5PF. Its filed activity puts it in wholesale.

A licence says an organisation may sponsor; it does not say it is hiring today. The way to find out is the same as for any employer: the careers page, the job boards, and a direct approach with a UK-style CV that says early that sponsorship would be needed.
