What a licence means

They can sponsor. That is all it says.

A sponsor licence lets an organisation assign a Certificate of Sponsorship to a worker on the routes it covers. It does not mean Avalon Group is hiring from abroad this month, only that it can, and has been checked by the Home Office to do so.

How to approach them

Lead with the role, not the visa

Apply through the careers page or the job boards with a UK-style CV, say early that you would need sponsorship, and make the skill and the years the first thing they read.

The register

Avalon Group is licensed to sponsor workers on Skilled Worker. The organisation is based in Harrogate and has held its place on the register since at least 2026. Its rating on the register is Worker (A rating).

Companies House lists it as Avalon Group Ltd, number 14170688, incorporated 2022: 4 years of filings behind the name. The registered office is at First Floor, 81-85 High Street, Brentwood, Essex, CM14 4RR, CM14 4RR. Its filed activity puts it in construction.

What the licence tells a candidate is that the door is not locked. Whether it is open this month is a question for Avalon Group's own careers page and the job boards, and the answer changes with the season and the order book.
