What a licence means

The slow part is done

Getting a licence takes an application, checks and a fee, and most employers never bother. Automation Consultants Ltd has, which means when a role qualifies the certificate can be assigned without months of preparation.

How to approach them

Make the certificate easy

The employer assigns the certificate; you supply what it needs. Certificates, references, your English level and a clear licence position, all ready, is what makes Automation Consultants Ltd say yes to the sponsored candidate over the unsponsored one.

The register

The register lists Automation Consultants Ltd in Theale, Reading as a licensed sponsor on Skilled Worker, an entry that goes back to at least 2026. The register records its rating as Worker (A rating).

At Companies House the business is Automation Consultants Limited (company number 04047568), a private limited company incorporated in 2000, 26 years ago. Registered office: 1420 Arlington Business Park, Theale, Reading, RG7 4SA, RG7 4SA. By its SIC codes the business is in it, software and media. It has traded under other names before, including Automation Consultants Hldgs Ltd, Automation Consultants Limited.

What the licence tells a candidate is that the door is not locked. Whether it is open this month is a question for Automation Consultants Ltd's own careers page and the job boards, and the answer changes with the season and the order book.
