What a licence means

The slow part is done

Getting a licence takes an application, checks and a fee, and most employers never bother. Archies Express Desserts LTD has, which means when a role qualifies the certificate can be assigned without months of preparation.

How to approach them

Lead with the role, not the visa

Apply through the careers page or the job boards with a UK-style CV, say early that you would need sponsorship, and make the skill and the years the first thing they read.

The register

The register lists Archies Express Desserts LTD in Washington as a licensed sponsor on Skilled Worker, an entry that goes back to at least 2026. Its rating on the register is Worker (A rating).

At Companies House the business is Archie's Express Desserts Ltd (company number 15856195), a private limited company incorporated in 2024, 2 years ago. Registered office: 6 Usworth Hall, Washington, NE37 3HJ, NE37 3HJ. Its filed activity puts it in hospitality.

A licence says an organisation may sponsor; it does not say it is hiring today. The way to find out is the same as for any employer: the careers page, the job boards, and a direct approach with a UK-style CV that says early that sponsorship would be needed.
