What a licence means
They can sponsor. That is all it says.
A sponsor licence lets an organisation assign a Certificate of Sponsorship to a worker on the routes it covers. It does not mean Al Baraqat is hiring from abroad this month, only that it can, and has been checked by the Home Office to do so.
How to approach them
Make the certificate easy
The employer assigns the certificate; you supply what it needs. Certificates, references, your English level and a clear licence position, all ready, is what makes Al Baraqat say yes to the sponsored candidate over the unsponsored one.
The register
The register lists Al Baraqat in Northampton as a licensed sponsor on Skilled Worker, an entry that goes back to at least 2026. The register records its rating as Worker (A rating).
Al Baraqat Ltd is the registered name (Companies House number 13791396), a private limited company on the register since 2021. The registered office is at 2 Henry Street, Northampton, NN1 4JE, NN1 4JE. By its SIC codes the business is in business services.
A licence says an organisation may sponsor; it does not say it is hiring today. The way to find out is the same as for any employer: the careers page, the job boards, and a direct approach with a UK-style CV that says early that sponsorship would be needed.
