What a licence means

The slow part is done

Getting a licence takes an application, checks and a fee, and most employers never bother. AFA Telecoms Limited has, which means when a role qualifies the certificate can be assigned without months of preparation.

How to approach them

Lead with the role, not the visa

Apply through the careers page or the job boards with a UK-style CV, say early that you would need sponsorship, and make the skill and the years the first thing they read.

The register

The register lists AFA Telecoms Limited in Blackburn as a licensed sponsor on Skilled Worker, an entry that goes back to at least 2026. Its rating on the register is Worker (A rating).

Companies House lists the business as Afa Telecoms Limited, company number 16812833, a private limited company. Registered office: 1a Barton Street, Blackburn, BB2 1LJ, BB2 1LJ. Its filed activity puts it in construction.

What the licence tells a candidate is that the door is not locked. Whether it is open this month is a question for AFA Telecoms Limited's own careers page and the job boards, and the answer changes with the season and the order book.
