The record
The Department's figures show 41 employment permits issued to MongoDB Limited in 2026, which places it 94th of 7,732 employers nationally and makes it a regular rather than an occasional user of the system.
This is not a new relationship with the permit system: MongoDB Limited goes back to 2017 in the figures, 210 permits later, with its biggest year 2022 at 46. Use has fallen over the last three full years, which can mean the roles were filled, the need passed, or hiring moved elsewhere.
The 2026 pattern is spread across the year: permits in 8 of 9 published months, busiest in September (12).
The CRO lists it as Mongodb Limited, number 499992, a ltd - private company limited by shares on the register since 2011. Its registered office is at Building Two, Number One Ballsbridge, Dublin 4, Ballsbridge, dublin.

What this tells you
A working relationship with the permit system
MongoDB Limited takes permits most years, which is the profile of an employer that recruits from abroad when a role cannot be filled locally and has the paperwork down.
How to approach them
Be the easy application
Employers that hire from abroad remember the candidates who arrived with documents in order: certificates, references, a clear licence position. Be that candidate and the permit is the employer's problem, not yours.

What you need to work here
- A job offer and a contract of employment signed by you and the employer before anything is submitted. Applications must reach the Department at least 12 weeks before the start date.
- The right permit for the job. Most trades and driving roles go through a General Employment Permit, which is issued for 2 years and can be renewed. Roles on the Critical Skills list use a Critical Skills Employment Permit.
- Pay at or above the minimum for the permit. For a General Employment Permit the Department currently lists it as generally EUR 36,605 a year, with lower figures for meat processing, horticulture, healthcare assistants and home support. Check the official figure for your role before you rely on it.
