The record

40 permits in 2026 put Kpmg comfortably inside the group of Irish employers who use the permit system every year, at 99th of 7,732.

This is not a new relationship with the permit system: Kpmg goes back to 2010 in the figures, 1,252 permits later, with its biggest year 2022 at 364. Recent years show a decline from the peak.

The 2026 pattern is spread across the year: permits in 9 of 9 published months, busiest in July (8).

The CRO lists it as Kpmg Unlimited Company, number 230360, a ulc - private unlimited company on the register since 1995. The registered address is 1 Stokes Place, St. Stephens Green, Dublin 2. The register currently shows the company status as dissolved.

Read the figures

Routine, not exceptional

The count is not spectacular and does not need to be: it shows an employer that uses the permit route as one normal channel among several, year after year.

How to approach them

Apply like a local candidate

Check Kpmg's own careers page and the job boards, apply with an Irish-style CV, and be clear in the first message that you would need an employment permit and that you know what that involves.

For candidates

What you need to work here

  • A job offer and a contract of employment signed by you and the employer before anything is submitted. Applications must reach the Department at least 12 weeks before the start date.
  • The right permit for the job. Most trades and driving roles go through a General Employment Permit, which is issued for 2 years and can be renewed. Roles on the Critical Skills list use a Critical Skills Employment Permit.
  • Pay at or above the minimum for the permit. For a General Employment Permit the Department currently lists it as generally EUR 36,605 a year, with lower figures for meat processing, horticulture, healthcare assistants and home support. Check the official figure for your role before you rely on it.
