Month by month

2026

Permits issued by month. A run of months usually means an ongoing programme, not a one-off hire.

Year by year

Since 2025

What the numbers say

37 permits so far in 2026, against 42 in the whole of 2025.

Permits were issued in 9 of the 9 months published so far, which points to an ongoing hiring programme, not a one-off.

What this tells you

They know the process

A steady run of permits means Forvis Mazars has been through the application more than once and knows what the Department asks for. A candidate does not have to explain the system to them.

How to approach them

Time it to the rhythm

This year Forvis Mazars's permits peaked in March. Hiring rounds tend to repeat, so an application a couple of months ahead of that lands when the decision is being made.

The record

The Department's figures show 37 employment permits issued to Forvis Mazars in 2026, which places it 112th of 7,732 employers nationally and makes it a regular rather than an occasional user of the system.

The history runs from 2025: 79 permits over 2 years, with 2025 the busiest at 42.

The 2026 pattern is spread across the year: permits in 9 of 9 published months, busiest in March (7).

For candidates

What you need to work here

  • A job offer and a contract of employment signed by you and the employer before anything is submitted. Applications must reach the Department at least 12 weeks before the start date.
  • The right permit for the job. Most trades and driving roles go through a General Employment Permit, which is issued for 2 years and can be renewed. Roles on the Critical Skills list use a Critical Skills Employment Permit.
  • Pay at or above the minimum for the permit. For a General Employment Permit the Department currently lists it as generally EUR 36,605 a year, with lower figures for meat processing, horticulture, healthcare assistants and home support. Check the official figure for your role before you rely on it.
