What the numbers say
5 permits so far in 2026, against 6 in the whole of 2025.

Busiest full year: 2024 with 28 permits. First year on record: 2010.
What this tells you
A gap filled from abroad
A small count usually means a specific skill that could not be found locally. If that is your skill, this employer already knows the route to you.
How to approach them
Time it to the rhythm
This year Drescator Limited's permits peaked in September. Hiring rounds tend to repeat, so an application a couple of months ahead of that lands when the decision is being made.
The record
The record for Drescator Limited in 2026 is 5 employment permits, the pattern of an employer that fills a specific gap from abroad rather than a whole shift.
Since 2010 the count stands at 87 permits across 16 years. The high point was 2024, with 28. There is a consistency to it: similar numbers in each of the last three full years.
All of this year's permits for Drescator Limited came through in September, which looks like a single intake: one cohort recruited, tested and brought over together.

What you need to work here
- A job offer and a contract of employment signed by you and the employer before anything is submitted. Applications must reach the Department at least 12 weeks before the start date.
- The right permit for the job. Most trades and driving roles go through a General Employment Permit, which is issued for 2 years and can be renewed. Roles on the Critical Skills list use a Critical Skills Employment Permit.
- Pay at or above the minimum for the permit. For a General Employment Permit the Department currently lists it as generally EUR 36,605 a year, with lower figures for meat processing, horticulture, healthcare assistants and home support. Check the official figure for your role before you rely on it.
