Reporting to: Operations Manager, Workshop Foreman
Job Type: Full Time, Permanent, On-Site
Job Schedule: Monday to Saturday (Some Saturday’s required)
Role Overview:
Transway Trailers is a service provider to transport companies in Ireland. We specialise in HGV trailers and can tend to
every part of an HGV articulated trailer. The company celebrated 40 years in business in 2024 and has a strong base of
loyal customers.
This role is suitable to any candidate with automotive body repair experience, especially in panel beating and spray
painting.
Key Responsibilities/Duties:

• Repairing damaged refrigerated bodies on HGV trailers.
• Filling and sanding.
• Prep, prime and paint sections of bodies, cabs, chassis and wheels.
• Replace upright and cross section pillars at front and rear of refrigerated bodies.
• Working with adhesives & foam insulation.
• Repairing and refitting insulated body panels and sections.
• Removing and refitting body accessories such as lights, door handles and buffers.
• Repairing and retrofitting rear doors to HGV refrigerated trailers.
• Welding & basic fabrication, if applicable.
• Participating in all scheduled training as required by the company.
• Contribute to the maintenance and upkeep of our facility, vehicles and equipment.
• Ensuring all work is carried out to the highest possible standard and contribute to delivering a high level of
  Customer Experience.
• Maintaining a good level of housekeeping.
  Essential Competencies:
• Ability to work as part of a team.
• Ability to complete work delegated to a high standard.
• Computer / mobile device literacy will be an advantage.
